Research Interests

My research has covered practically all fields of economics, both in developed and underdeveloped economies. I have edited or authored over one hundred articles, a hundred book chapters and over eighty books. My research interests at the present time have to do with the recent economics of Asia and Latin America (including Cuba), and with U.S. macro and microeconomics.
